3 Days Tour from Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech → Ait Ben Haddou → Dades Valley

Early in the morning, your driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech and start the journey toward the Sahara Desert. Travel through the High Atlas Mountains via the breathtaking Tizi n’Tichka Pass, with stops along the way for panoramic views and photos of Berber villages. Visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its beautiful earthen architecture and movie history.

After lunch, continue toward Ouarzazate and drive through the Valley of Roses and the Skoura palm groves. Enjoy scenic landscapes of kasbahs, rivers, and rock formations. In the late afternoon, arrive in the Dades Valley, famous for its dramatic rock formations and winding roads. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay in a charming riad or hotel in the valley.

Day 2: Dades Valley → Todra Gorge → Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, depart toward the spectacular Todra Gorge, one of the most impressive canyons in Morocco. Day 3: Merzouga Desert → Draa valley→ High Atlas → Marrakech
