Atlas Mountains Waterfalls Day Trip

Upon your arrival at your hotel or riad, accompanied by your personal chauffeur, at approximately 9:00 am, we embark on a journey southward from Marrakech, traversing the vast Plains of Haouz towards Asni, nestled at the base of the majestic High Atlas Mountains. Our expedition continues further south, skirting the vicinity of the esteemed Kasbah Tamadot, now an opulent sanctuary under the Virgin empire’s domain, until we reach the charming village of Imlil, where the smooth asphalt road concludes.

Once in Imlil, you will rendezvous with your experienced mountain guide, who will accompany you on a captivating two-hour trek. Along the way, you will be privileged to witness the authentic Berber villages, and there is even a possibility of relishing a traditional lunch at a local Berber family’s dwelling.

We then retrace our path towards the Asni road, ascending to the captivating Kik plateau, where a succession of valleys unfolds, presenting awe-inspiring vistas. Before concluding our day’s journey, we make a brief stop at the picturesque Lake Takerkoust, before ultimately returning to Marrakech.

Thus concludes our captivating excursion through the Atlas Mountains, as we arrive back in Marrakech at the end of the day.
